My dancing journey began over twelve years ago when I took my very first baby salsa step. Swing would quickly follow, and then, before I knew it, dancing had become one of my greatest passions in life. Throughout my college years, I became part of a social dance community, and we would go dancing every week. We learned from others and each other, and some of us began to teach.  For over five years, I extensively participated in multiple styles of Ballroom Dances including Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, and Rumba, as well as developing other social dances such as Merengue and Bachata. I even took a period of time to receive training in foundational Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip-Hop, and Breakdance. I have now had the privilege to teach at five different dance studios and with half a dozen other institutions. I have contracted with many different organizations to host social dance events, and I have taught privately on and off for about the past eight years. I have also choreographed and performed in three formal dance competition and numerous exhibitions and performances. But my greatest creative dance joy was in choreographing, and performing with my wife, our wedding dance. Today, I still have a love for all the various styles of dance, but most of all, I continue to teach and practice where it all began: salsa and swing. Now, my desire is to pass this joy onto others and help them take their first baby steps into the world of dance.
